Love Without Borders

What is life about?

Fame, fortune, wealth, creed or

to walk life's path, to experience, to learn, to prevail.

To attain to the meaningful, where do I turn?

'Love Without Borders' could be an aim.

If in our depths we are one

In essence we are all part of the stream of life.

Love in it's fullness within our depths

It's in our extremities our differences lay.

Soul and Ego in a cosmic dance.

The Soul often gentle and encouraging

The Ego often wants a fight

Importantly befriend the Ego, become more free

That Soul and Ego may work in harmony.

'Love Without Borders' a worthy aim.

Addressing our internal and external barriers and borders.

Love from the Soul surely the key,

expressed with faith, warmth and integrity.

Barriers sometimes an important and necessary choice.

The wider community a panorama of many on a journey.

Let's aim to diminish borders, inner and outer,

wherever and however we can.

Poems by Bryan

I have written a number of poems over the years and they are generally about thoughts and questions I was having at the time and what evolved from them.Cave of Unknowing is around existential questions and the meaning of life. Love Without Borders is about barriers and borders internal and external.

Cave of Unknowing

Ancient timing

A cave of unknowing

A metaphor of becoming

A stalactite suspended from the roof

A stalagmite rising from the floor

Percolation from roof to floor

Drop by drop

One giving one receiving

Lower rising towards the higher

To a future point of meeting

Blessings shared

Higher Self, natural self

Higher awareness becoming natural

Natural awareness becoming higher

Union most profound

Step by step

Becoming unbound.
